Narcotics Pharmacist

The Narcotics Pharmacist role is onsite in Orlando, FL. Compensation is $61–$63 per hour. The pharmacist supports SpecialtyRx’s mission to provide exceptional service guided by its CARE culture. The pharmacist reviews medication orders, addresses medication-related questions, and coordinates with physicians and facility staff to support appropriate medication therapy. The role also oversees medication preparation and controlled-drug security and records.

What you'll do

• Evaluate medication orders for drug, dosage, interactions, and administration
• recommend therapy changes when needed
• maintain customer medical and clinical records
• investigate medication queries
• communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare team members
• supervise medicine preparation
• maintain controlled-drug registers and medication security
• perform on-call duties when required.
