Optical Sales Associate

The Optical Sales Associate role is onsite in Fort Walton Beach, FL, with compensation of $15 per hour. The position supports patients with eyewear and eye-care needs at The Vision Hub. The associate helps customers select and care for eyewear while supporting sales, patient checkout, insurance processing, and the day-to-day organization of the optical office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you'll do

• Greet customers and help select frames and lenses suited to vision needs, style, and budget
• explain product options, features, coatings, and care
• process sales and payments
• check out patients
• answer phones
• verify insurance authorizations and process claims
• manage work orders and customer records
• take fit measurements and perform minor adjustments and basic repairs
• maintain inventory, displays, and a clean sales floor
• schedule appointments and retrieve paperwork as needed
• comply with HIPAA and company procedures.
