Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (2nd or 3rd Shift)

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician role is onsite in LaPorte, IN, at a production facility. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour depending on experience. Howmet Aerospace provides engineered solutions for aerospace and transportation industries, including jet engine components, fastening systems, titanium structural parts, and forged wheels. The technician maintains and repairs industrial machinery and facility systems to support safe, reliable production and reduce equipment downtime. The role diagnoses equipment issues, completes preventive maintenance, and supports production operations across the assigned shift; training is conducted on first shift until complete.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs
• troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, combustion, electrical, and electronic equipment
• install, assemble, rebuild, and repair equipment and support facility infrastructure
• inspect, operate, and test machinery
• participate in projects and planning
• interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities
• use a Computer Maintenance Management System
• work assigned shifts and weekends, with holiday and emergency coverage as required.
