What you'll do

• Process transactions using the cash register and point-of-sale system
• handle cash and balance the drawer
• accept approved payment methods and process SNAP and WIC purchases
• issue receipts and change
• greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues
• comply with regulations for weights, alcohol, and tobacco sales
• identify products and bag merchandise
• suggest additional products
• maintain checkout cleanliness and food-safety practices
• stock merchandise as needed.
