The role combines hands-on technical leadership with planning for systems, security, data, vendors, budgets, and emerging technologies, including practical AI and automation applications.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the IT department
• set department goals and priorities
• develop and execute IT strategies
• manage and improve technology supporting transportation, truck systems, MRF operations, recycling, and data destruction
• identify and implement AI, automation, and emerging technologies
• establish responsible AI and data-security practices
• manage projects, budgets, vendors, contracts, and investments
• partner with senior leadership on technology costs, risks, benefits, and return on investment
• maintain IT policies, procedures, security standards, and data-management practices
• ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
