Senior Technical Project Manager — Retail Technology

Job overview

The Senior Technical Project Manager role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally; stated pay is $110,000–$160,000 per year. The role supports Outform Group’s retail technology initiatives, initially focusing on multi-phase LED video wall programs for a major retail brand. The role owns complex technology programs from scoping and architecture through global deployment and long-term support. It coordinates technical and cross-functional teams, manages program outcomes, and serves as a primary technical contact for clients and stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Oversee concurrent technology programs and technical feasibility
• define architecture and resource needs
• lead hardware, software, and display-system integration
• develop technical requirements and bills of materials
• manage roadmaps, risks, milestones, and stakeholder communication
• maintain technical documentation and quality processes
• test and validate solutions, build prototypes and demos, and handle tier-two escalations
• coordinate engineering, design, production, sourcing, clients, vendors, and field support
• mentor junior team members.
