The Surgical Technician II, Operating Room, Evening Shift is an onsite role based in Jersey City, NJ. 41 - $38.42 per hour, supporting the Operating Room department at Jersey City Medical Center. This role exists to provide technical support within the surgical suite, collaborating with perioperative registered nurses to ensure safe patient outcomes and efficient surgical procedures. The technician is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and anticipating the needs of the surgical team throughout various complex procedures.

What you'll do

• Organize and administer individualized age-specific patient care
• maintain a sterile environment
• scrub for service lines including robotics, vascular, neuro/spine, and trauma
• assist with surgical dressings and instrument counts
• ensure proper specimen collection and identification.
