What you'll do

• Oversee and support staffing coordinators and scheduling teams across skilled nursing facilities
• establish consistent scheduling procedures
• review schedules, open shifts, shortages, overtime, agency usage, and call-outs
• work with facility leaders to identify staffing needs
• help fill open shifts and resolve urgent coverage issues
• monitor availability, attendance, conflicts, and recurring gaps
• develop strategies to reduce overtime, agency use, vacancies, and last-minute shortages
• assist with recruitment and candidate tracking
• maintain regional staffing and recruitment reports
• train and coach coordinators
• conduct calls and facility visits
• ensure scheduling practices follow company policies, applicable union requirements, and regulations
• participate in occasional after-hours staffing escalation as needed.
