This role exists to plan, implement, and evaluate advanced wound, ostomy, and continence management for patients in inpatient and ambulatory settings. The WOC Nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based, cost-effective care and mentors staff on best practices to improve patient healing outcomes.
What you'll do
- Manage complex wound and ostomy care, perform negative pressure wound therapy, collaborate with surgeons and primary care providers, educate patients and staff, and develop individualized care plans.
