Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Teacher works onsite in Moncks Corner, SC. Compensation is $14 per hour, based on education and experience. Otter Learning uses a play-based curriculum to support children’s learning and development. The role supports classroom activities and daily care for children from infancy through school age. Working alongside lead staff, the assistant helps nurture children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and keeps families and colleagues informed.

What you'll do

• Lead and participate in play-based classroom activities
• support children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
• assist with daily care including feeding, changing, and nap time
• use the Classroom Management system to share updates with parents and team members
• work alongside lead staff to support children from infancy through school age.
