Director of Off-Site Services

Job overview

The Director of Off-Site Services role is onsite in Northville, MI, with flexibility to support service activity off-site and outside normal working hours. Compensation is not specified. UTAC provides testing, vehicle engineering, certification, and related services to mobility and other industries. As a member of the Group Leadership Team, the director oversees groups whose work is primarily completed away from UTAC-operated sites. The role provides technical resources and direction, manages financial and operational performance, and supports customer expectations and global operations.

What you'll do

• Hold full P&L responsibility
• oversee mechanical and electrical design teams, field services, project managers, and certification
• manage project managers and customer expectations
• represent the service group in senior leadership meetings
• forecast revenue and budgets
• provide strategic and technical direction
• support sales leads
• coordinate supplier specifications, pricing, and delivery
• prepare labor estimates and quote descriptions
• prioritize projects and resources
• conduct performance reviews
• report progress
• cascade company goals
• ensure process adherence and a safe work environment.
