The Civil Engineering Land Development Market Leader role is onsite in Raleigh, NC; compensation is not specified. The market leader develops the local business, leads and mentors an engineering team, and oversees client-focused land development work. The role combines business development, project and financial management, technical quality oversight, and permitting coordination to expand the firm’s presence and deliver projects that meet client needs.

What you'll do

• Lead business development and community involvement in coordination with the corporate business development manager
• lead, mentor, and grow engineering staff
• manage client satisfaction, proposals, contracts, schedules, budgets, and invoicing
• oversee design development and contract documents
• supervise quality control and technical review of site, grading, utility, stormwater, and roadway plans
• coordinate permitting submissions and authorities having jurisdiction
• support the Community Infrastructure Business Unit.

Why this role

Requires a North Carolina Professional Engineer registration, a civil engineering or related degree, and 15+ years of engineering design and project management experience. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred, but the role is not to perform AutoCAD design.
