The Interventional Radiology Technologist role is onsite in Waterloo, NY. Compensation is $3,000–$3,350 per week. The position supports an Interventional Radiology team at an acute care hospital. The technologist prepares and positions patients, assists radiologists with diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, operates imaging equipment, and produces diagnostic images. The role also supports safe patient care, accurate imaging records, and procedural team workflow.

What you'll do

• Prepare and position patients for procedures and imaging exams
• assist radiologists during invasive and diagnostic procedures
• select exposure factors and produce diagnostic images
• operate imaging equipment
• monitor equipment and report malfunctions
• support room turnover
• document in HIS, RIS, and PACS
• protect patient confidentiality
• respond to technical inquiries
• promote patient safety and comfort.
