Family Caregiver – COMP

Job overview

The Family Caregiver – COMP role is performed in the caregiver’s home in Colorado Springs, CO, with compensation of $17–$49.69 per hour based on the family member’s tier level. Cheyenne Village and TRE support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through individualized services and support plans. The caregiver provides support to an adult family member with an intellectual or developmental disability, following the Individual Service and Support Plan. The role promotes individual choice, monitors health and safety, follows medical instructions, and completes required documentation and training.

What you'll do

• Implement supports defined in the Individual Service and Support Plan
• identify strengths, interests, and needs with a supervisor
• promote individual choice and person-centered services
• administer and monitor medical instructions and secure medications
• monitor health and safety
• maintain the residence according to applicable standards
• complete required documentation in Therap
• complete required training and participate in supervision meetings.
