Business Operations Intern — Apprenticeship, HR & Business Operations

The Business Operations Intern role is onsite in Worthington, OH, with an anticipated schedule of approximately 20–25 hours per week and possible increased hours as the 2027 school year begins. Pay is $22.50–$25.00 per hour. The internship supports Converse Electric’s apprenticeship education, People & Culture, and business operations functions. The intern primarily assists the instructor and apprenticeship program with classroom preparation, student records, scheduling, and program activities, while also supporting HR administration and operational projects. This work helps the company’s employees and apprenticeship program function effectively and gives the intern practical experience across education, HR, and business operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare class materials, schedules, handouts, and instructional resources
• organize classrooms and hands-on lab space
• track attendance, grades, assignments, and homework confidentially
• coordinate guest speakers and apprenticeship events
• support NCCER and Pearson learning platforms
• organize employee records in the HRIS
• assist with new-hire orientation, employee events, HR communications, and training coordination
• support warehouse coordination, safety initiatives, technology projects, and other assigned operational needs.
