Direct Support Professional, Personal Attendant or Skills Instructor

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in San Rafael, CA, with work in home and community settings; pay is $17–$25 per hour, paid weekly. What you'll do

• Depending on assignment, provide person-centered supervision and occasional assistance with activities of daily living
• support medication administration when needed
• accompany or transport individuals to appointments
• observe and report changes
• teach independent living skills
• support routines and community activities
• promote health, safety, and wellness
• reinforce self-advocacy and goal setting
• use de-escalation techniques during community activities
• complete daily logs and progress notes
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
