Quality Systems Specialist

The Quality Systems Specialist role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Compensation is $80,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports SARA’s High Power Electromagnetics Division in production and the transition of technologies and products to defense and energy customers and contractors. The specialist maintains and improves the quality management system, supporting compliance, corrective actions, audits, supplier quality, and quality metrics. This work helps ensure production activities meet customer and quality requirements and supports continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Review proposals, contracts, and customer requirements for quality obligations
• support program quality plans and maintain records
• maintain QMS policies and procedures for ISO 9001 and customer requirements
• coordinate management reviews and audits
• track corrective actions and verify effectiveness
• maintain quality metrics and report trends
• assist with supplier evaluations and audits
• collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and program management.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years working with ISO 9001/AS9100 including 3 years of direct QMS compliance responsibility, eQMS experience, and audit experience. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance if applicable are required.
