The Floating Teacher — Early Childhood Education role is onsite at the South Hamilton school in Hamilton, MA, full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work until 5:30 p.m. Pay is $17–$24 per hour. Magical Beginnings operates early childhood education centers serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The teacher provides coverage and support across classrooms, maintaining continuity of care and learning for children from infancy through preschool. The role helps classrooms follow established routines and supports children’s development while teachers are absent or need planning time.

What you'll do

• Provide substitute coverage across classrooms
• support infant, toddler, and preschool rooms
• follow classroom routines, lesson plans, and schedules
• assist with meals or bottles, diapering, outdoor time, and naptime as appropriate
• maintain cleanliness in classrooms and shared spaces
• communicate with parents
• maintain required professional development hours and PQ registry
• and support children’s independence, language, and confidence.
