Network Engineer (Telecommunications Engineer)

The Network Engineer (Telecommunications Engineer) role is onsite in Melbourne, FL. Compensation is $50–$52 per hour. The engineer supports the telco network solution used to provide FTI services. The role develops and implements telecommunications designs that meet network and customer needs, replacing legacy copper-based services where appropriate. It also supports technical reviews, documentation, automation and optimization opportunities, release workflows, and after-action reviews to help deliver reliable network implementations.

What you'll do

• Evaluate telecommunications designs against critical infrastructure and FTI network service needs
• plan and design modern services to replace legacy copper-based solutions
• implement solutions supporting customer requirements
• participate in after-action reviews
• create and maintain documentation for engineering and NOC teams
• identify automation and network optimization opportunities
• manage the telecommunications design release workflow to meet implementation schedules.

Long-term assignment in Melbourne, Florida; non-local candidates will be compensated accordingly. Public Trust clearance must be obtainable. WAN telecommunications experience and a technical degree are required.
