Lead Teacher

What you'll do

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
• maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom
• communicate with families about children’s progress and daily activities
• supervise indoor and outdoor activities and follow health, safety, and licensing requirements
• observe, assess, and document learning and development
• participate in professional development
• support assistant and resource teachers
• use positive guidance strategies.

Why this role

An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Child Development Associate credential, and 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred; a high school diploma and state-required pre-service training are required.
