The Software Developer, Cloud Data Pipelines role is onsite in Dahlgren, VA, supporting the Joint Warfare Analysis Center under Air Force JWAC IT Services. Compensation is $150,000–$170,000 per year. The work supports cloud-based data services for analytics and AI/ML use. The developer builds and maintains software, integrations, APIs, automation, and pipeline components that ingest, transform, validate, and deliver data. The role contributes to reliable and secure cloud delivery by working with cloud engineers, data scientists, analysts, cybersecurity staff, and Government stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain software components
• build or extend data-pipeline and ETL components
• develop APIs, web services, integrations, serverless functions, and workflow automation
• prepare documented datasets for analytics, feature engineering, model training, and inference
• deliver software into AWS or Kubernetes/containerized environments and contribute to deployment automation and CI/CD
• improve reliability through testing, monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• apply secure development practices
• collaborate with technical and Government stakeholders
• evaluate performance, operational effort, and cloud cost.
