Group & Community Engagement Specialist

Job overview

The Group & Community Engagement Specialist role is onsite in Danville, IL, supporting the CCBYS (Comprehensive Community-Based Youth Services) department. Compensation is $23–$24.04 per hour. The role engages youth and families through group sessions, individual support, and community-based programming. The specialist maintains a caseload, facilitates group sessions and intakes, documents participant services, plans family events, and collaborates with community partners. The work supports participant engagement and program improvement through youth feedback and peer observations.

What you'll do

• Maintain an active caseload of approximately 15–20 participants
• organize and facilitate group sessions in schools and community settings
• conduct group intakes and maintain documentation
• plan program activities and family engagement events
• collaborate with community partners
• provide backup crisis response as needed
• participate in peer observations
• collect and analyze youth satisfaction surveys.
