Senior Director, Global Relations, Chapters & Membership

Job overview

The Senior Director, Global Relations, Chapters & Membership role is hybrid in Chicago, IL, with three office days each week (Tuesday through Thursday) and other days virtual. Compensation is $150,000–$160,000 per year. Turnaround Management Association is a not-for-profit professional community serving members in corporate restructuring, renewal, and corporate health. Reporting to the CEO, the senior director leads membership growth and retention, chapter performance, volunteer engagement, and collaboration across TMA’s global network. The role also oversees membership operations and analytics, develops chapter leaders, and supports the association’s international presence and organizational goals.

What you'll do

• Develop membership acquisition, retention, reinstatement, and engagement strategies
• set growth goals and analyze membership data
• improve onboarding and member experience
• serve as liaison to chapter executives and volunteers
• support chapter operations, governance, and performance
• develop volunteer leadership resources
• build relationships with international chapters and affiliates
• oversee membership operations, systems, reporting, and data integrity
• lead and develop the membership and chapter relations team
• contribute to planning, budgeting, and goal setting.
