What you'll do

• Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining database servers
• support database security standards and access permissions
• perform basic performance tuning and health checks
• use Claude AI or similar tools to assist with SQL queries, scripts, and documentation
• support database application installation and upgrades
• troubleshoot and escalate errors and tickets
• help build reports, visualizations, dashboards, and automation scripts
• participate in the on-call support rotation as needed
• monitor performance, verify backups, and assist with recovery testing.
