The Assistant Director — Early Childhood Education role is onsite in Ashville, OH. Compensation is $17.50–$18.50 per hour. The primary schedule is Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., with flexibility to open the building at 6:45 a.m. when needed. The role supports the leadership team at The Goddard School in Canal Winchester. The role exists to support daily school operations and help maintain an organized, positive environment for children, families, and staff. The assistant director coordinates teacher coverage, supports administrative and operational tasks, builds family relationships, and assists the director with school events and engagement activities.

What you'll do

• Manage teachers’ daily schedules and classroom coverage
• assist with snack preparation and distribution
• build relationships with families
• support administrative and franchise-management tasks, including tuition payments and daily operations
• welcome families at afternoon pickup
• help plan school events and family-engagement activities
• support the director in maintaining an organized and efficient school environment.
