The clerk supports the corporate accounting department by billing vehicle deals, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end reporting. Accurate and timely transaction processing helps maintain dealership records and coordinate deal resolution with Sales and Finance Managers.

What you'll do

• Bill deals, customer payoffs, journal entries, transactional accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close reporting
• bill new, used, wholesale, dealer-trade, and fleet deals within two business days of receiving them
• resolve issues with Sales and Finance Managers
• verify sold units against deal checklists and company policies
• process dealer trades
• review accounting schedules and report discrepancies
• submit and cancel aftermarket products
• reconcile salesperson commissions and vehicle inventories
• assist with finance-reserve reconciliation, aged receivables, and license and title work
• perform general clerical duties.
