Line/Prep Cook — Part-Time, Tuesday–Thursday Evenings

The Line/Prep Cook role is onsite in Newton Highlands, MA, part-time, with availability needed Tuesday through Thursday evenings. Typical shifts are 2:00–9:00 p.m. or 3:00–9:00 p.m., based on operational needs. Pay is $23–$25 per hour. The cooks prepare meals for residents and contribute directly to their daily dining experience. The cook prepares and serves meals and special diets while supporting timely meal service, kitchen safety, and cleanliness. The role also assists with menu planning, food and equipment ordering, kitchen inventory, and training team members in food preparation.

What you'll do

• Communicate with the team to meet resident needs
• assist with menu planning and special diets
• prepare or supervise meals and special diets
• assist the Chef de Cuisine with food and equipment orders
• ensure timely meal service and proper nutritional diets
• maintain kitchen, storage, and dining areas in compliance with health codes and policies
• account for kitchen stores, equipment, and utensils
• participate in mandatory training.
