The Construction Assistant / Equipment Operator with CDL role is based from Vancouver, WA, with extensive travel to project sites for multiple weeks at a time. Pay is $25.00–$36.75 per hour; per diem and lodging are provided while traveling. ONEMESA provides corrosion-control and rust-mitigation solutions, and this role supports field projects. The worker combines commercial driving, equipment operation, and hands-on construction labor to help complete corrosion-control projects. Safe vehicle operation, site preparation, material handling, and trench work support project delivery in the field.

What you'll do

• Operate commercial vehicles safely
• assist crews with loading and unloading materials, setting up equipment, and general labor
• conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• follow safety and regulatory requirements
• coordinate deliveries, schedules, and site support with supervisors and team members
• prepare and clean construction sites
• dig and backfill trenches and compact and level earth. Extensive travel for multiple weeks at a time is required.
