Senior Revenue Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Revenue Accountant role is hybrid in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $95,000–$115,000 per year. The position supports Empower Aesthetics’ growing, multi-location business and its Finance and Accounting team. The accountant owns revenue, collections, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue accounting and reconciliation across multiple locations. The role also works with Operations, Finance, and IT to improve accounting processes, resolve system and data issues, and support audits and new business initiatives.

What you'll do

• Own monthly accounting and reconciliation of revenue, collections, and deferred revenue
• apply U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies
• account for deferred revenue from packages, memberships, gift cards, and prepaid services
• prepare revenue-related journal entries
• analyze trends and variances
• identify automation and process improvements
• use AI and automation tools to improve workflows
• resolve system integration and data issues with Finance, Operations, and IT
• support audits and evaluate accounting implications of new offerings and programs.
