The Emergency Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Aiken, SC, at PriorityPet Urgent Care’s new hospital. Pay is $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience. The hospital provides accessible urgent care for pets every day from noon to 10 p.m. The technician supports urgent veterinary care through patient triage, nursing, diagnostics, treatment assistance, and communication with clients. The work contributes to the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality, accessible care while prioritizing animal welfare.

What you'll do

• Restrain animals
• triage incoming patients
• collect and analyze lab samples
• perform diagnostic imaging
• provide nursing care to medical and hospitalized cases
• administer medications
• communicate treatment plans to clients
• prepare for and assist with surgery
• manage anesthesia
• maintain medical records and follow veterinary procedures.
