Senior Electronic Security Systems Designer

The Senior Electronic Security Systems Designer is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA, with up to two remote days per week. Compensation is expected to be $100,000–$150,000. Vanderweil’s Technology Design Group supports mission-critical projects involving telecommunications, audiovisual, and security systems. The designer leads security-system project work from requirements and design through construction coordination, testing, and turnover. The role also coordinates Revit designers and works with project partners to deliver documented systems that meet client needs.

What you'll do

• Develop requirements from customer input
• research equipment
• create basis-of-design documents, construction drawings, and specifications
• coordinate with architects and construction staff on security planning
• oversee final system testing and turnover
• ensure system and operations documentation is provided to clients
• lead projects and coordinate Revit designers.
