What you'll do

• Review distribution maps to identify water sources, flow, valves, and flushing locations
• inspect and operate valves, hydrants, and blow-offs
• perform flushing and water-quality monitoring
• maintain monitoring equipment and quality procedures
• use mapping and GIS-related tracking technologies
• prepare reports and work orders
• track maintenance and flushing plans
• collect water-quality data
• maintain inventory of parts and tools
• report to the Lead Flushing Technician.
