Project Technician — Industrial Field Services

The Project Technician role is an onsite position based in Galveston, TX, with extensive travel to customer facilities throughout the United States and extended periods away from home. Compensation is not specified. Astro Pak’s Field Services team supports industrial maintenance, cleaning, and equipment reliability projects for customers across multiple sectors. The technician helps execute field projects by setting up and operating specialized equipment and temporary systems, supporting cleaning and fluid services, and assisting with inspections, sampling, testing, and documentation. The role contributes to safe, reliable project delivery while developing specialized industrial service skills.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and tear down specialized industrial equipment and temporary systems
• support flushing, chemical cleaning, filtration, decontamination, and fluid transfer projects
• assist with pipefitting, inspections, fluid sampling, basic field testing, and project documentation
• participate in mobilization, site setup, and demobilization
• care for tools, vehicles, and equipment
• report safety concerns and equipment issues
• maintain organized work areas and communicate with customers and team members
• follow safety, environmental, quality, and operating requirements.
