Assistant Site Lead – Security Operations (Church Site)

The Assistant Site Lead – Security Operations (Church Site) role is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL; compensation is $22–$23 per hour. The position supports security operations at a high-visibility church in a faith-based setting. As the second-in-command onsite, the assistant lead helps oversee daily operations, ensure security posts are staffed, and maintain a safe and coordinated environment for church leadership, members, and guests. The role supports the Site Lead through team coordination, communication, coaching, scheduling, and incident response.

What you'll do

• Support oversight of security posts
• ensure positions are staffed and operating according to standard operating procedures
• fill posts or coordinate coverage when needed
• conduct spot checks
• communicate with the Site Lead, team members, and church staff
• provide operational updates
• assist with briefings and debriefings
• coach team members
• assist with incident response and reporting
• create weekly schedules
• monitor attendance and performance
• lead monthly staff meetings.

Why this role

Part-time schedule requires Sundays 6:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., with some Saturday mornings and weekday evenings as scheduled. Prior security or law-enforcement supervisory experience is required.
