Gas Station Cashier / Customer Service Representative

The Gas Station Cashier / Customer Service Representative role is onsite in Carmel, CA. Pay is $17.40 per hour. The role supports H&S Energy's daily store operations and customer service. The representative serves customers at checkout while helping maintain store presentation, food and beverage quality, and a safe, welcoming environment. What you'll do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, accurate checkout service
• communicate promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations
• operate the POS system and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
• process refunds and exchanges according to policy
• perform cash counts and drawer balancing
• verify identification for age-restricted items and credit transactions
• stock and organize shelves, coolers, and displays
• maintain signage and pricing
• remove expired or damaged items
• prepare and maintain self-serve food and beverage stations
• follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• clean equipment and facility areas
• follow safety and emergency procedures
• report equipment malfunctions and hazards.
