What you'll do

• Monitor databases for uptime and availability
• troubleshoot application and database connectivity, access, and security issues
• tune long-running SQL
• refine database tasks and processes
• use operating-system scripting utilities for maintenance and diagnosis
• review implementations and propose or execute changes
• install SQL Server 2022 and 2025 with failover clustering
• administer, support, and tune SQL Server databases
• participate in help desk and application support rotation
• work with engineering and operations professionals.
