Dietary Aide

What you'll do

• Assist with meal, snack, and nourishment preparation and service
• assemble trays according to diet cards, tray tickets, specifications, and preferences
• verify assigned diets, textures, and liquid consistencies
• deliver meals
• assist residents with meal setup when appropriate
• communicate concerns to nursing or dietary leadership
• set up and clean dining areas
• wash, sanitize, and store dishes and equipment
• maintain sanitary areas and follow food safety and infection prevention procedures
• assist with temperature monitoring, food storage, stocking, and documentation.
