The Dietary Cook role is onsite in City of Saint Peters, MO. Compensation is $16 per hour. The cook joins the Dietary team at St. Peter’s Rehab and Healthcare Center, preparing meals that support patient and resident care. The role prepares and serves meals that meet therapeutic menus and individualized care plans, while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards. It helps ensure residents’ and patients’ special dietary needs are followed in coordination with dietitian or supervisor directions.

What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to therapeutic menus and individualized care plans
• prepare texture-modified foods as directed
• follow food-safety, record-keeping, risk-management, and infection-control requirements
• maintain clean dining areas, dishes, kitchen equipment, and appliances
• follow tray-card coding and dietary abbreviations
• attend required training and department meetings
• follow facility safety guidelines.
