The Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic role is onsite in Anderson, CA. Compensation is $35.35–$39.90 per hour, depending on experience. Pape’ Kenworth is a medium- and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer serving customers in the West. The technician diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, maintains, and services Class 7 and 8 trucks to restore performance and reduce downtime. Accurate, timely work supports customer uptime and reliable vehicle operation, with the technician working alongside trained shop colleagues.

What you'll do

• Diagnose truck malfunctions and system failures
• repair or rebuild cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems as needed
• maintain and service trucks
• complete repairs accurately and promptly
• support safety and quality standards.

Why this role

Requires three or more years working on medium- and heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC, and chassis repair; own tools required. Kenworth Essentials certification and Cummins or MX software experience are preferred.
