Senior Director of Operations

The Senior Director of Operations role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with a base salary of $175,000–$210,000 per year, an uncapped performance-based bonus opportunity, and a relocation package. The role leads a family-owned restaurant business with more than $10 million in annual sales and distinct casual, upscale, and private-event operations. Working directly with ownership, the director is accountable for the business’s overall performance and continued growth. The role brings operations, financial management, people development, marketing, culinary execution, and guest experience together to improve results and support future expansion.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations and performance across the restaurant business
• develop strategies to increase sales, guest counts, revenue, and profitability
• manage P&L, budgets, forecasts, and operating metrics
• improve labor efficiency, food and beverage costs, purchasing, inventory, and expenses
• lead and develop general managers, culinary leaders, and senior staff
• set goals and performance expectations
• oversee marketing and private-event strategy
• partner with culinary leadership on menu execution, food quality, costs, and kitchen performance
• improve training, systems, processes, and guest experience
• support future growth and expansion.
