The Body Shop Technician—Truck and Trailer Repair role is onsite in Omaha, NE, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Cornhusker International Trucks is a small, family-owned company. The technician diagnoses and repairs damaged truck and trailer equipment, restoring vehicles to operating condition and dealership or factory standards. The work includes body, structural, welding, electrical, mechanical, and suspension repairs, along with inspections and maintenance documentation.

What you'll do

• Identify parts and repair needs
• review repair orders and estimates
• adjust, replace, and repair truck and trailer equipment
• perform sheet metal, fiberglass, panel, fabrication, and structural welding repairs
• inspect for hidden damage
• advise the estimator of additional damage or delays
• perform maintenance repairs
• road-test vehicles
• maintain accurate records
• lead apprentice work as applicable.
