The Night Cook role is an onsite, full-time position at Marywood University in Scranton, PA, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Pay is $16–$17 per hour. Chartwells Higher Ed provides food service for the campus team at Marywood University. The cook prepares food to established standards and supports scheduled meal production and service. The role also maintains food safety and kitchen cleanliness, operates equipment, and assists with production planning and supply handling.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and instructions
• portion and arrange meals for service or delivery
• maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard excess food safely
• keep refrigerators and storerooms organized
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving supplies
• report maintenance needs and faulty equipment.
