Structural Steel and Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician

The Structural Steel and Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician role is onsite in Clarksville, TN, with a stated pay range of $25–$29 per hour. The role supports fabrication work by turning technical drawings into finished metal components. The technician prepares, cuts, forms, assembles, and welds materials, then checks dimensions, fit, and finish against design and shop standards. Safe equipment operation and coordination with engineers, designers, and peers help maintain quality and production flow.

What you'll do

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• cut, form, and prepare materials using fabrication equipment
• assemble and fit parts
• perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• inspect dimensions, fit, and finish
• identify and correct issues
• maintain and safely operate tools and machines
• follow safety procedures and communicate with colleagues.
