The Senior Structural Analysis Engineer role is onsite in Irvine, CA. Compensation is $105,000–$155,000 per year. The engineer provides structural-analysis expertise across spacecraft development, from concept and design reviews through prototype testing, manufacturing, verification, and launch integration. The work helps multidisciplinary teams identify design constraints, validate structural performance, and meet program schedules and technical requirements.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on structural constraints and mitigation
• plan and coordinate analysis tasks
• review technical analyses
• create finite element models and perform static, dynamic, buckling, thermal, linear, nonlinear, and transient analyses
• support mechanical testing, test fixtures, plans, procedures, and reports
• conduct spacecraft vibration testing and interpret test data
• coordinate with vendors and test facilities
• improve analysis tools and processes
• support program schedules, technical compliance, and Engineering Review Board materials.
