The Electro-Mechanical Technician, Production Maintenance role is onsite in Hiram, OH, with a stated commute radius of about 45 minutes. Pay is $34.10–$36.70 per hour, with a $2.10-per-hour night premium on 12-hour night shifts. The technician supports production lines at a modern food manufacturing plant. The role exists to keep production equipment operating by diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. It also supports reliable operations through preventive maintenance, accurate records, and work to identify lasting fixes for recurring problems.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot production equipment and electrical or mechanical problems
• repair and maintain machinery and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• read schematics
• troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including I/O diagnostics and ladder logic
• perform preventive maintenance and maintain records
• identify recurring problems and help develop lasting fixes
• request parts and supplies
• follow plant safety and food manufacturing quality practices.
