Assistant Project Manager Intern

The Assistant Project Manager Intern is an onsite role in Colwich, KS, paying $20–$21 per hour. The intern works in ICM Ventures’ Project Management department as part of a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, project managers, scientists, sales, and business professionals. The role supports project planning and execution by helping develop estimates, schedules, design deliverables, bid packages, and project documentation. It contributes to coordinated construction work and provides hands-on exposure to project management and field engineering responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Assist Project Management with preliminary estimates and construction schedules
• coordinate with Design Engineers on design deliverables
• review preliminary plans and specifications
• coordinate subcontractor approvals, scopes of work, and bid packages
• draft subcontract agreements for supervisor review
• assist with material and equipment take-offs
• order, track, and expedite equipment as directed
• help respond to daily RFIs
• assist Field Staff with tracking external man-hours
• periodically travel to job sites for field engineering responsibilities as needed.
