The Speech-Language Pathologist role is onsite in Clermont, FL. Pay is $70–$95 per hour. The position provides rehabilitative services under a plan of care through Visiting Nurse Services of Central Florida. The pathologist evaluates speech and language disorders, develops and updates treatment plans, and provides therapy and education to patients and families. The role also supports care teams and monitors patient condition to help deliver appropriate rehabilitative care.

What you'll do

• Provide rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders
• assist a physician, physician assistant, or advanced practice registered nurse with evaluation
• develop and update treatment plans
• educate and counsel patients and families on therapy exercises and safe practices
• instruct care team personnel and caregivers
• monitor patient condition and notify the supervisor and provider of changes or respond to emergencies as appropriate under the plan of care.
