The buyer manages procurement execution during design and early construction, aligning purchase orders, contracts, commitments, and forecasts with project budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures. The role coordinates with engineering, construction management, finance, legal, suppliers, and contractors to keep procurement deliverables moving and records audit-ready.

What you'll do

• Manage purchasing for design consultants, early-phase services contractors, and construction packages
• map requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts to project WBS and approved budgets
• track spend, commitments, forecasts, and variances
• coordinate procurement with project functions and approval workflows
• route contracts and change orders
• maintain audit-ready records
• coordinate with suppliers and contractors
• support project controls and escalate complex negotiations or risks.
