Safety Driver, Autonomous Vehicle Testing

The Safety Driver role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with a 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shift and schedule options of Wednesday–Sunday or Friday–Tuesday. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour. The role contributes to autonomous vehicle testing by collecting data on system performance and driving conditions. The driver operates autonomous vehicles safely and lawfully, monitors vehicle performance during field tests, prepares vehicles for daily operations, and submits reports. The work helps inform system development and operational improvements while maintaining safety around riders, engineers, other drivers, and pedestrians.

What you'll do

• Operate autonomous vehicles safely and lawfully to collect system and environmental data
• interact professionally with riders, engineers, and operations leaders
• monitor vehicle performance and conduct field testing
• complete vehicle safety checks and readiness tasks
• submit detailed reports
• remain alert and distraction-free.
