Field Training Officer – Child Welfare Team

The Field Training Officer – Child Welfare Team role is onsite in Winnebago, NE. Compensation is $25.00 per hour. The position supports Winnebago Child and Family Services and reports to the Child and Family Services Program Manager. The officer bridges classroom and agency training with child welfare casework by providing structured field instruction, supervision, coaching, and evaluation. The role helps new and developing staff build practical skills and follow applicable child welfare standards and agency procedures.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on training, supervision, coaching, and support
• design and implement preservice and in-service training
• coordinate required DHHS training
• oversee professional development
• supervise trainees and monitor progress
• provide feedback and evaluations
• maintain training records
• train staff on case planning, court reports, documentation, and agency expectations
• coordinate training needs with leadership.
